This bestselling self-help business book unveils the success secrets of 18 Indians who have mastered opportunities to go from rags to riches. Richard began his career on Wall Street with Merrill Lynch, then served as Brand Manager with Black & Decker, a Fortune 500 company. He subsequently joined the elite U.S. Commercial Service, a branch of the U.S. Diplomatic Service.
Richard served as Trade Commissioner of the United States of America around the world for 23 years, including postings with the American Consulate Mumbai for over ten years.
As Trade Commissioner, Richard expanded business opportunities for hundreds of companies operating in over 67 sectors, covering the full gamut of business activities. His experience spans 41 countries, on five continents.
Mr. Rothman has taught marketing and strategy at the graduate level for the Graham School of Management in Milan, Italy, and the Indonesian Institute of Management, Jakarta.
Richard holds a BA from Bates College, an MBA from California State University, and an MA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
