Deepak Singh is the Scientist/Engineer for the Indian Space Research Organization, ISRO. He is currently based at the Space Application Center in Ahmadabad, building capabilities for the ISRO from SAC. Currently working in Human Spaceflight Group for Ground and on-board support for Gaganyaan mission.
Deepak joined ISRO in 2009 as a Scientist/Engineer-SC in Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, VSSC Trivandrum in Aerospace Mechanism Group, and in 2013 got promoted to Scientist-SD. In 2018 he got promoted to Scientist-SE and assigned task for realizing Space Grade Payload Mechanism and Ground Station. Since then he was instrumental in realizing two Gimbals mechanism . He was key member for realizing 2.5m Ground Station for the first time in SAC. In 2023, he got promoted to Scientist-SF. Currently working in Human Spaceflight Group.
Before joining ISRO, he was with EATON for about two n Half years as Aerospace engineer and worked for the Debris monitoring system for the Aircraft Engine.
